Application of Phosphorescence Technology for Toilet Lighting in Refugee Camps
My (very late) exploration of this challenge
Question: Can a plastic sheet seeded with phosphorescent powder allow sufficient light through the day and produce sufficient light through the night?
1) Make glow-in-the-dark resin samples

2) Test light transmission and glow-in-the-dark lasting power
3) Measure luminosity and light travel distance
While clearly visible, the light seems to be too weak for meaningful lighting. For now, the project is on pause. Translucent panel may not provide enough GID light
