Art in my Life

At the age of three, my grandmother instilled in me a love of painting, teaching me basic skills. I initially used art as a creative medium to express my feelings. I continued to experiment with different forms including realism and impressionism; however, only when I found surrealism and futurism, was I able to completely express my feelings towards the world around me.

Through mixed media and my own interpretation, I create conceptual works as metaphors of current social and economic turmoil. I use materials that I believe illustrate these ineffable concepts through the dynamic nature of my works, such as wax, thermo-sensitive plastics, etc. The final artwork itself, often ephemeral, is not the main feature. Instead, the message and the ideas are the driving force behind my creative expressions.
